Geostar 70-100 used on Middlemore Hospital Project

Geostar 70-100 Adjustable square & rectangular concrete column formwork  was used to form these 900mm square crane legs on the current Middlemore Hospital project.

This was the first time this crew have used the Geostar System and they put it together with ease. The Geostar plastic formwork system from Everitt Site Supplies is light weight. No mobile crane was required. The smooth plastic formwork surfaces produce a nice finish, and are incredibly easy to clean.

A good result all round with quality columns and cost efficiencies.

KleenKote helping Jasmax Architects to push the envelope on AUT buildings

In keeping with the AUTs desire to push the innovation envelope, Jasmax - the Architects for the 'WG Precinct on Mayoral Driveproject (with main contractor - Fletcher Construction), required a rough sawn timber finish to the outside of the buildings concrete core. Never an easy task with the variables associated with insitu or site poured concrete.

In addition to the very fine detail required on the concrete surface, it was imperative that any residue from a form release didn't hinder the application of subsequent protective coatings.

Exhaustive trials with release agents, sealers, and concrete mixes by Dominion Constructors meant Everitt's KleenKote was chosen to attempt to achieve the desired result.

A technical blend of environmentally friendly oils and water the Kleenkote is not only safer to use for the building site but can provide a release for the most intricately detailed forms.

Easily applied on site to forms by roller or spray, a minimum quantity is needed to achieve a result and being non greasy and non toxic Kleenkote is also recommended for use on any surface or machinery that requires protection from concrete splatter.

Kleenkote is also being used to protect finished painted steel on site.

Good result, nice finish!!

Concrete Structures Ltd in Wiri are supplying precast panels to the Victoria Park Tunnel project. The spec calls for water cured concrete and the Transguard 4000 from Everitt Site Supplies provides a no mess answer. The Transguard 4000 Cover absorbes water and holds it in close contact with the concrete face and eliminates standing water from the factory floor. Transguard is tough as well and provides multiple reuses. This makes it the most cost effective curing method available.

Mansons TCLM Ltd recognised the speed and flexibility of the new Geostar from Everitts

Mansons TCLM Ltd recognised the speed and flexibility of the new Geostar from Everitts was the right formwork for an interesting insitu pilaster detail on their precast wall joints in Freemans Bay.

By using a standard 600mm x 1200mm Geopanel, coupled with the 200mm-600mm adjustable Geostar Panel, they were able to form the 400mm x 600mm pilasters in no time.

In fact B&W's experienced formworker Rennie Aleke's comment 'just too easy' says it all. The icing on the cake is the fact that Manson TCLM end up with formwork capable of forming columns in any combination between 200mm and 600mm.
